The first part of the media is an entertaining nine-minute monologue. After this narrator tells his story, your group members will want to tell theirs. Who can help but notice how getting ready for winter has changed over the years? It's a cool and refreshing program topic for a hot summer afternoon.

Two Media Presentations on DVD with 8-page Guide in Binder.  In "Frost, You Say?" words and pictures illustrate the autumn morning activities of an independent farmer as he thinks about getting his place ready for winter.(8 minutes) "Fall Color"  includes images of holidays, school starting, leaves falling, football, food, and clothes - in fall colors.(4 minutes) Both programs have subtitles.

Sing-Along Songs and Piano Music on CD with Guide in Binder. Four sing-along songs: "Button Up Your Overcoat," "Lullaby of the Leaves," "Shine On Harvest Moon," and "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come." Fall Piano Music for easy listening on four tracks: "Autumn Leaves," "Autumn Nocturne," "Indian Summer," and "Autumn in New York."

25 Booklets. Fall offers two poems: October's Bright Blue Weather and When the Frost is on the Punkin', plus the four sing-along songs. All are in large print.

Skits. "Ready or Not, Here Comes Winter!" A couple bickers about the work that has to be done around their house to get ready for winter. Three large-print scripts.

Picture Folder. Includes a map of first killing frost dates, best fall color areas, new fall styles from the 1927 Sears catalog, a Halloween poem by Ogden Nash, and pictures of football, a hunting camp, and an old-fashioned kitchen on Thanksgiving morning.
