"You Oughta Have An Auto!" provides a chronology of the automobile in
America.(20 minutes) It begins with the turn-of-the-century shout of Get a
Horse! and continues to a modern rush hour traffic jam. The program closes
with a look back at the very special cars in our family albums. The DVD is
closed-captioned.
Sing-Along Songs and Stories on CD with Guide in
Binder. Sing-along songs: "In My
Merry Oldsmobile," "This Land Is Your Land," "Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis,"
and "California, Here I Come." Stories for discussion: "Jalopies
I Cursed and Loved" by John Steinbeck and "Goodbye, Old Paint" by Dereck
Williamson.
